Time to shine

We know you're awesome, and
we want to tell the world.

We are passionate about raising the profile of admin roles and how crucial they are to businesses.

At one of our Development Events we invited Leeanne Graham, Executive PA Magazine PA of the Year 2013, to speak about her experience of winning an award.  Attendees were encouraged to be proud of their achievements, aim high, and to nominate themselves and their colleagues for industry awards.  Several members have since received local and national recognition - demonstrating the high level of talent in the South West.

At another event, business coach Judy Salmon hosted an evening concentrating on building confidence and boosting assertiveness, to help members self-promote and ensure they receive the reward and recognition they deserve.

Having previously teamed up with publications such as the Express & Echo to run a 'PA of the Month' profile in its Business Connect magazine, we now regularly contribute to Grow Exeter Magazine, highlighting the PA profession.

Members have also had their profiles featured in Exceptional EA's Real Careers series, and have blogged for Eventopedia's The Proud Assistant series, as well as Express & Echo's People Behind the Business series.  You can see more of our members' blogs in the 'Members in the news' section.

Kim Glover is also ensuring that South West PAs are represented in her role as Regional Non Executive Director of EPAA (Executive & Personal Assistants Association), the national professional body championing the cause of EAs and PAs, to raise the profile of the profession.
